7.0 PROCEDURE

7.1 Pre-Start Checking:

7.1.1 Clean the outer surfaces of the compressor using cotton cloth.

7.1.2 Check the oil level in the oil tank using the gauge glass fitted on it. The level should be half of the tank.

7.1.3 Ensure all valves are in open condition.

7.1.4 Ensure the emergency switch is healthy.

7.2 Start-up Procedure:

7.2.1 Power on the MCB located inside the compressor panel.

7.2.2 Wait for one minute. Within one minute the compressor should start automatically.

7.2.3 Power on the switch of the dryer.

7.3 Checks While Running:

7.3.1 Check whether the compressor is getting Load/Unload as per set pressure.

7.3.2 Ensure the oil temperature does not exceed 80 °C.

7.3.3 Clean the air filter of the compressor and dryer on a weekly basis.

7.3.4 Check the dew point of the dryer; it should not exceed 10 °C.

7.3.5 On Daily once more shift drain the condensed water of the receiver tank through the drain valve.

7.3.6 On a Monthly basis, check the safety valve (located on the air receiver tank) by operating it manually.

7.4 Shut Down Process:

7.4.1 Power off the MCB located inside the compressor panel.

7.4.2 Power off the switch of the dryer.
